Navy Revises Career Paths to Emphasize Service at Sea Keep your seabags handy shipmates.....you remember the old saying "Ship belong at sea and Sailors belong on Ships." But give them a break, 5 years is a bit much. I did 42 months on the USS Constellation and thought that was quite enough.
